Super Mushroom Computer Case Mod

By admin

Pics: s29.photobucket.com This is my 8-bit Super Mushroom Case Mod. If you got some time to burn, oh I don’t know, about 50 hours and about 1500 wooden cubes this is what you get. This is a Home Theater PC *HTPC*. It has only one fan and is quite capable at gaming if it is needed to. I will be doing more 8-bit computer cases but it will probably not be for a little bit :D . If anyone would be interested in a similar htpc case (commisioned) send me a message. Enjoy the video and spread it around. I would like to get some six digit views on this video. (A man can dream lol). Also Search youtube for Black Mage computer for my other 8-bit computer I built. Thank you for you time!

damn dude you must have ALOT of free time on your hands VERY nice case but whats the specs on it?

12

Case first. Need it so I can build a computer that can haxor these jets.

13

wheres my jet

14

Where the FUCK is my white mage case???

15

nice mod mate :)

oh and where u get ur super cool pyjama bottoms haha?

16

Very creative. ^_^ And nice job!
=D

17

Monitor calibration test: Adjust tint until it doesn’t look like a 1-Up.

18

Nah, The computer would have to get crazy hot for it to spontaneously com-bust the wood. I have another wooden mod built the same way and it hasn’t caught fire in the 16 months i have had it :)

19

probably a few hours to get the main design down. I winged a few parts as I went but it came out well

20

I tried to make them glow but since the mushrooms eyes are black i had to use black stain glass and I couldnt get any LED’s to penetrate through it. I tried though

21

Not much other than it being awesome

22

Looks very nice, one small question, did you do anything to the blocks to give them some sort of heat protection for the off chance that something goes and ends up overheating?

23

so how long did it take to plan out the design?
also nice companion cube

24

Oh wow this is just as impressive as the original mage case. Did you consider making the eyes glow when you turn it on? That would be badass!

25

is there anything beneficial to having this type of case ?
