I always wanted to have the classic bicycle messenger bag and when I saw this product I was impressed by the design. Combining the bike messenger style with flashy colors (a dash of neon) and equipped to carry a lap-top and several other items – this bag makes for nice carry-on luggage, walking around town or just a simple work-bag tote. A little tricky to put the straps together – but worth it once it’s done.

With very few exceptions, I love this bag. The construction is the most impressive thing I noticed. I think this bag will last longer than I will. My one and only gripe is I wish there was some more segregation in the main compartment. There is the extra padded pouch for my laptop (which works perfect) and a ton of loops to clip stuff onto as well as a small lined pouch for my iPod. I just wish the large compartment had a divider or two. At least optionally, maybe removable velcro or something. All in all a great product.

Great bag. To bad the pitures on amazon don’t show the bags real capacity.

I like it because it have a lot of pockets in every size and a protected laptop pocket. I bout this bag for a friend and she loved it.

My wife and children bought this for me as a birthday gift. I live in Stuttgart Germany and commute by bus, train and foot. Mornings here are cool and a jacket is needed, however by the end of the workday a jacket is optional, and the bag has ample room for the jacket and any other items I bring home or pick up on my way home from the office. It also rains frequently, so the fact that this bag can deal with a light drizzle day in and day out is also a big plus. Took the bag on the Paris Metro this past weekend, and it performed like a champ. The Napoleon pocket works quite nicely, for pulling out the Public Transportation pass when confronted on the Stuttgart U-Bahn by the pass checking transit officials. One caveat, a person needs to be mindful of snagging a sweater or tie on the velcro closure. I think a nice addition would be a mesh elastic pocket outside for a bottled water or drinking bottle. The quick release clip is handy for popping the bag off in tightly crowed buses or trains. I highly recommend this bag!

I got the medium blue bag and I must say I am pretty pleased. The construction is really sturdy and the bag has a lot of features that make it worth the cost.

PROS:

Very durable material. Couldn’t ask for higher quality.

Really good adjustable satchel strap -it can be adjusted very easily and tightly, very possibly with one hand.

Is expandable to a very large size -once you loosen the straps holding the base of the bag it expands to fit a basketball or 4 laptops -not that you’d want to do that, but that is the space that it’d give you.

There is a special padded section to put your laptop and it has soft bubbles pushing out of the bag which cushion whatever you put in this pocket. It would definitely fit a large laptop with plenty of room to spare in the adjoining compartment.

It’s got multiple interior compartments -one for the laptop, and one for the main sack, and a little place to put pens, and a zipped compartment to put whatever else you want.

It’s got multiple exterior compartments. Through a nice design it has 4 zippers on the outside, which provide a layered pocket approach. As long as you are putting small (flattish) items in these pockets you can use all of them. If you put something really misshappen in one, the others are rendered less useful as they are either in front of or behind the other pockets.

The velcro on the outside allows you to hold even oversized laptops, as it is adjustable beyond the intent of the bag.

Cons:

It is not a backpack, so don’t purchase it as that. It is a satchel -something you might carry on your back if you were riding a bike (that’s why they call it a messenger bag). If you know this going into it, it is fine.

I hadn’t heard about this brand before, but I remain satisfied and impressed with its performance. Recommended.
